Eclipse Aperture MCP
The Instagram adapter, formalized: capability-declared, hash-bound native variants for Feed, Carousel, Story, and Reel. The descriptor travels with the mode.
status: in-developmentclass: mcpSocial Adapter / Instagram
Vendor: Cyan Eclipse Technologies
What it does
- Static capability declaration fixture (dated, [verify]-flagged, states live_calls_made: false)
- Native variant builder: Feed 4:5, Carousel, Story and Reel variants from one approved package
- Preview pack rendering the exact native preview an approval binds, hash-matched to the variant
- Simulated probe failure downgrades modes and the downgrade flows into built variants
- Formalization only: the sanctioned house connector is referenced, never duplicated — no token path, session or posting code exists

Platforms
- MCP over stdio (HTTP transport on roadmap)
Certification
Bench verdict: CERTIFIED(local)
Certified scope: CERTIFIED(local) — Eclipse Bazaar Test Bench 2026-10-25, 11/12 checks pass, 1 na (U1 auth: stdio process boundary). Run by W-003 (Verity), suites/aperture.py.
Not tested:
- Live Graph API behavior — v0.1 makes NO live calls by design; the capability record is a static declaration and every row is [verify] against a dated Meta record before external reliance.
- Publish/container/insights tooling (ig_media_stage, ig_container_verify, ig_insights_read, ig_own_comment_queue) — roadmap only, not built.
