What it does
- A signed TitleRecord is the catalog of record per title — only SIGNED versions enforce; a tampered record refuses RECORD_UNSIGNED-class and never quietly applies
- Royalties recomputed line-by-line from record terms with a per-line arithmetic trace and honest coverage — an estimate offered as ledger input refuses ESTIMATE_AS_TRUTH_REFUSED
- A closed 8-class divergence vocabulary across every channel a book sells in; the Amazon price-match trap fires CRITICAL at check time, not after the royalty statement
- Discovered editions are QUARANTINED, never auto-promoted; there is NO price-write verb on the surface — repricing attempts refuse REPRICE_FORBIDDEN
- PIRATE_SOURCE_REFUSED: LibGen-class sources refuse by name in URL, metadata and check forms — this is the rights-holder-side line, and it never touches pirate infrastructure

Independent Verity bench with own fixtures; run 1 card retained append-only. Scope: local/simulator — NO live retailer, KDP or connector data (KDP has no author API; connector fetch is P1/D3-gated and absent; Watch is D4-gated and absent). N-CHECK: NOVELTY_PROVEN — a signed catalog of record whose royalties are recomputed line-by-line and whose pirate-source refusal is structural; benched against BookReport/ScribeCount-shaped dashboards, which keep no record and recompute nothing.
Not tested:
- Live retailer / KDP data — KDP has no author API; P0 is synthetic fixtures only.
- Connector fetch — P1/D3-gated, absent at P0.
- Watch — D4-gated, absent at P0.
- commerce_verify_offer against live commerce — P2 surface; simulator-proven at P0 only.
- The owner's real book as dogfood — deferred by the owner; P0 fixtures are synthetic.
